Heritage Mechanical completed work this month on the new 120,000-square-foot Walmart Supercenter in Fort Totten Square (Washington, D.C.). The store was developed by The JBG Companies and Lowe Enterprises and today employs approximately 400 full- and part-time associates.
“The size of this store made it a complex project for us — but also an exciting one,” commented Lance Baird, principal, Heritage Mechanical. “It required significant heating, cooling, and refrigeration capacity in order to ensure proper store operation and employee and customer comfort. It’s a project we’ve been really enthusiastic about for several months now and are proud to finally see it come to life.”
This is the second Walmart in the District of Columbia that Heritage has helped to build.
